Great day out at Government House garden party

A GROUP of residents and staff from the home were lucky enough to attend the first charity garden party hosted by the Island’s new Lieutenant Governor.

The event was held in glorious sunshine and the JCH group thoroughly enjoyed a lovely afternoon on Wednesday 14 June along with representatives from other charities.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, who is patron of Jersey Cheshire Home, and his wife Lady Dalton spent a considerable amount of time talking to the four home residents who attended.

The home party comprised of residents David Abbot, William Bradburn, Shaun Clark and Christine Clegg with support from staff members Ben Franklin, Anita Despres, Margaret Maervoet and Harry McRandle.
