Facilities

As a custom designed Home, Eric Young House offers a variety of specialist facilities for residents and guests.  All facilities are equipped to the highest standards. 

Facilities within the Jersey Cheshire Home include a large lounge / dining room, an activities room, a quiet room and a patio area and garden for the summer months.  In addition the wonderful Hydrotherapy Centre provides a purpose built swimming pool, maintained at a temperature of 34 degrees, with ramps and a hoist.  Within this complex there is also a fully equipped gym, where the Senior Physiotherapist and her assistant offer specialised treatment to both residents and visitors.  For more information about our Hydrotherapy Centre please click here.

Eric Young House also boasts a unique Respite Suite which is available to both residents and visitors. The Suite offers modern equipment including an overhead hoist, profiling bed / mattress and a fully equipped en-suite bathroom.  The Suite has its own parking and independent entrance with electronically controlled doors, as well as internal access from our Home.

Residents and visitors can receive complimentary advice about a variety of activity programmes our Home can offer and organise for you.  Our staff are more than happy to provide information to residents and guests about local tourist attractions, as well as the many theme weeks organised by Jersey Tourism.
