The Building

The principle benefactor, who provided funds to enable the Jersey Cheshire Home to be built was the late Eric Young; the Jersey Cheshire Home is named Eric Young House in his memory. 

Many individuals, firms and organisations have made considerable donations to the Cheshire Home, which has helped to provide comfortable furnishings, equipment and other essentials to make it a Home from Home.

Accommodation is provided for people of both sexes of all ages. There are 21 bedsitting rooms, each specifically designed to allow our residents optimum independance, while our trained staff ensure that help is on hand 24 hours a day.  In addition to Residents, the home opens its doors to Visitors and Guests on a short stay or day care basis.  The Home's fantastic facilities give our Residents the opportunity and independence to entertain and prepare meals and evenings for their own special guests.
