David Lord

David Lord

Operations Manager

Personal Profile:
A hotelier for 30 years, a husband for nearly as long and a father for two young men, as well as a father in law! Constantly struggling to lose weight, constantly losing the struggle!

I began working at the Cheshire Home in June 2008, prior to that I was involved as a fundraiser, committee member and Foundation Chairman, quite an apprenticeship.

Best Aspects of the Job:
Being able to put into action the dreams and visions long thought about and keenly awaited by Residents and Staff alike.

Most Rewarding Parts of the Job:
Getting a smile when I crawl into the Home in the morning, enjoying making things happen in a multitude of disciplines.  Wondering what's for lunch (like everybody else!)

Any Further Comments:  How many pages of the Internet can I have?!
