About Us

First opened in July 1983 by Princess Alexandra, the Jersey Cheshire Home provides a permanent home for 23 residents of all ages.

The Jersey Cheshire Home is named 'Eric Young House' after the principal benefactor who provided funds to purchase the land for the property as well as enabling the property to be built.

Group

There are 21 individual rooms in the main house, plus two 'independent living units' attached to the building.  All are specially designed to allow residents optimum independence.  Staff members are on hand to ensure care and help is provided 24 hours a day.

Guests are warmly welcomed into the Home and may take part in any of our daily activities.  They may also benefit from the specialised facilities on site.
